Holistic Educationat CHRIST
(Deemed to be University)
In CHRIST’s ethos, holistic education is viewed as a sacred vocation centred on the integral development of the human person, moving far beyond mere academic knowledge acquisition.
It focuses on nurturing compassionate, ethical and socially responsible individuals equipped to serve the world with wisdom, humility, critical thinking, inclusivity and environmental responsibility.
Empowering students to leave a lasting impact.
Holistic Higher Ed
Holistic Higher Ed journal aligns seamlessly with the shared vision of the CMI congregation and CHRIST (Deemed to be University).
By serving as a scholarly platform that translates a rich educational heritage into contemporary academic practice. Featuring contributions directly from university faculty, administrators and researchers, the journal captures an authentic, lived portrayal of how the CMI legacy is actively practiced and innovated within the campus ecosystem. Ultimately, it furthers this collective mission by establishing a dedicated space to explore education not merely as instruction, but as a transformative instrument for advancing human dignity, ethical responsibility and integral development.
“
“Holistic Higher Ed is a dedicated space for reflection on the transformative power of university education. It aspires to become a vibrant platform for exploring education as a means of advancing human development – deeply rooted in the values of compassion, dignity, service, critical thinking, inclusivity and environmental sustainability.”
